HOSPITALITY/USHERS
This ministry serves at the weekend Masses by greeting worshippers as
they arrive, overseeing the Presentation of the Gifts and directing
the community during the Eucharist. Ushers also provide for the safety

emergency personnel if needed.

LOAVES AND FISHES
The mission
of this ministry is to feed the homeless and care for those in need in
our community. A hot meal is prepared and served to the homeless every
Sunday at noon, and a sack lunch is served every Friday morning. Bags
of food are also prepared for distribution at the Parish Office. Any
donation of food or money is always appreciated to help those who come
to our Parish Office in need.

MINISTRY OF CONSOLATION
This ministry has its purpose to ba a comforting presence to any
parishioner upon the death of a loved one. This is primarily done by
offering a Grief Support Group twice a year and through a outreach
ministry of volunteers who send cards and call family members after
the funeral for the first year.

MUSIC
MINISTRY
This ministry implements the liturgical/musical
directive of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (full and
conscious participation by parishioners in parish worship). Under
the guidance of the Pastor, directors of our Cantors, Choirs and
instrumentalists choose music and hymns that emphasize the
scriptural themes indicated by the lectionary. Training is provided
for those who desire to sing, cantor or play an instrument.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN
INITIATION FOR ADULTS (R.C.I.A)
This is
a total parish faith formation process involving the priests and
deacons, the worshipping assembly, catechists, liturgists, parish
sponsors, and those who offer hospitality. Its purpose is to prepare
any adult, teenager and child of catechetical ages 6-14 who desire
to become a Catholic Christian, and/or to complete their Christian
Initiation into the Catholic Church. A year-round inquiry group is
offered for adults in preparation for the Catechumenate.

SMALL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES
This ministry offers adults the opportunity
to gather together in groups of 6-10 in homes to discuss their lives
in light of the Gospel and to share their faith through prayer,
friendship and Christian service. These group meetings, which last
60-90 minutes, share stories and explore how the scriptures are
calling to serve today, and the meetings end with prayer and
refreshments. Materials are available to assist group facilitators.
Groups meet mainly during the seasons of Advent and Lent.

TAKE A SECOND LOOK: A MINISTRY FOR RETURNING CATHOLICS

journey back into the Church.

YOUTH MINISTRY FOR MIDDLE
GRADERS, HIGH SCHOOL AND TEEN CONFIRMATION
This
ministry is committed to bringing awareness, invitation and
empowerment to youth in the middle grades and in their high school
years to live their lives as disciples of Jesus Christ. Here is the
schedule for each of the groups:

on alternating Sundays with Confirmation sessions.
